FOURS BOUVIER and TECHNOFOUR merged in January 1996, since when the company has experienced strong growth, and is well positioned among the leaders of furnace construction in Belgium. Experience, together with a tradition going back more than 70 years and a marked interest in the most recent technological developments have created a solid base from which the company is able to respond precisely to the requirements of industry. Facing resolutely towards the future, BTF can take on many technological challenges in the field of industrial furnaces. All our furnaces and ovens are designed in-house and made-to-measure according to the individual requirements of the client. Over the last few years, the company has had to adapt to increasing levels of automation in the industry and fit out its installations, as required by the user, with control, regulation and traceability systems at the leading edge of technology. At the same time, this is an opportunity for BTF to broaden its objectives and to position itself as a designer of complete industrial solutions. The goals of the company naturally remain concentrated on the construction of thermal installations that comply with strict standards of quality. Market requirements tend mainly towards specialised furnaces such as vacuum furnaces, inert or hydrogen atmosphere furnaces. BTF is also specialised in enamelling and fire resistance testing furnaces. Within this specialised field, the company is the sole manufacturer in Belgium producing units that comply with the European standards. BTF is specialised in the construction of various types of industrial furnaces intended for all industrial sectors. The range of operating temperatures of the units manufactured is up to 1,800?XC. They can be designed to operate under air, under neutral gases, under vacuum or for performing special thermal treatments such as cimentation, (carbo) nitriding, ?K Furthermore, BTF designs and manufactures furnaces for performing fire resistance testing in approved laboratories, for the certification of materials. These furnaces must provide rates of temperature rise complying with the ISO standards.
